Bot Drop / Aimbotter Needs Perminant BAN!!!

PLAYER'S NAME: -gBa-Vigilante
AIMMBOTTER:  YES
FRAG COUNT: 40 under 2 minutes or less (Always!!)

-gBa-Vigilante ,  needs to be banned from all tastyspleen servers. He is using an emulator and is bypassing the anti-cheat.
He comes on the Rails server rarely, but when he does he always hits 40 frags under 2 minutes or less.  It is completely obvious he has an aimbot.

Today in map Carena he masterd a full 40 frags in 1 minute. Humanly possible? NO, do the math.

by the way who are the admins of the rail server?

Missing maps and textures.

ikdm6.bsp crashes the server.

I really think someone needs to take the time to admin the server, check out the maps and textures to find out
what is missing?

The final version will have a different filename. The current beta name is:

 "vyn_tsb1.bsp"

The Final version will be completely different.

Finding a sky box tutorial over the web now days for Quake2 is just about impossible. And if your lucky to find one, it just might not be complete. Look no more!!!

For the past two days I have been working hard on putting together a tutorial on how to create your own custom skybox
for Quake2 maps.  This SkyBox kit is enclosed inside a windows Help File (.chm). To view it all you have to do is double click
and away you go.  I also have compiled a Web based version of it, so if anyone wishes to have it in "html" format to be placed on a webserver? Just let me know here on the forums.  If you have downloaded it and found it usefull please post comments - Thanks.

I'll check back often to make sure the download links are still working.

Any chance on anyone in charge placing the map on some of the dm servers at tastyspleen.net? Especially place it on the "rails" server.

                             INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Just point the extraction to your c:\Quake2\MOD folder. It will extract to the .\MOD
mod directory of your choice and all the textures and stuff will be placed in their proper place.

If you wish to unzip the map and its textures etc. to another mod directory, simply
select which mod directory you wish to unarchive to and your done.

All textures used in this map are contained in this distribution. when unarchiving
if a pop ask you if you wish to overwrite?  Its up to you. Select yes or no.

This map is for Quake 2.  It was mainly designed for online
deathmatch, with the mods "RAILS", "DM", "TEAMS-DM" and "Comp WoD" in mind as a focal point.

I'm very interested in how it would play with the "nighthunters" mod?

Hey Guys,

Recently I decided to get back to playing quake2. I noticed right off hand that tastyspleen.net has a hudge amount of quake2 servers running.  A big thank you for helping keeping Quake2 alive and well.  In response to this, I have decided to make a contribution of my own.  For the past 3 weeks I have been playing on the Q2 rails server and decided to  create a map from scratch especially for tastyspleen.net to be placed on this server. The map can be played with any deathmatch mod.

I'm currently working on the map, but version 1 of the map is almost complete.  So, I decided to post a few screen shots so you guys can take an early look.  When I finish it I will upload it here.
