I still fail to understand why people feel like they need to in anyway cheat at these games....I mean whats the purpose??? If you suck you know it...and if you need to cheat to make it look like you dont suck....you still suck! And its like....Its Just A Game! A Game People! Its not like there is any money involved when you win a match or anything, and if there was...then maybe I would understand people attempting to cheat, but there isn't...so whats the point.
Nobody Cares if so and so beat so and so...BFD people...
I get beat by people on a consistent basis and I have been playing for over 6 years!
Suck it up and have fun already....Geeze

BTW...if you play enough without cheating then maybe at some point you wouldn't suck as bad and maybe even get to be a moderately skilled player...

(I am in no way accusing anyone in particular of cheating...if you cheat, you know who you are....if you dont...you also know who you are...you cant lie to yourself.....)

When I started playing my girl was actually taking turns playing with me so we ran the CrackWhore skin with the name of QueenBitch...but I got a bit tired of that name and she got frustrated with learning controls via keyboard and mouse so I changed my name to DeAthMonGeR...because I was on Dial Up and with a 250 ping...I just longed for death!!! Got picked up by XOL Clan but then found the Chaos mod....by now I had crappy DSL but was able to ping at about 100...Wow! 100 ping! I was loving it...after slicing up Analgasses a few times with my Bastard Sword...he offered me a spot in the Kill Em All Clan....by now I was quite skilled at the crazyness of Chaos and had ditched the DSL for Cable pinging an average 30-50....and changed my name to DeathIncarnate....DeathInc for shot...add the tag...

and there it stands until the internet dies...

I think that was the first time I've ever been accused of cheating...
since it's blatantly obvious I don't since I suck so bad!!!
I mean, how many rail shots do I have to miss first before plugging ya to make me a real player?!? Hahahaha
When ever I see any of that shit going on, I just chalk it up to the fact that... "The World is Full of DipShits!" ....

Hehe....I plan on getting some games in tonight if anyone is around. DM is fun but I get tired of the same ol maps. If nobody is on mutant, then I'll hit DM. But I actually prefer rails over DM. But then again, if there isnt anyone on Mutant, Redmond is usually my second choice. I like the skills of the people I find on the custom map servers. I actually like it when I have a hard time keeping 4th or 5th place rather than running around in first....especally since I actually suck! Especally once you  consider the fact that I've been playing quake II for like 7 or 8 years now...That and I prefer 3-8 players instead of 18-20 players...

BTW...The {KEA} Servers are still running. Same IP as always. I just hate sitting on an empty server waiting to see if anyone joins. Maybe I'll hang on the {KEA} FFA <<<<<DEATH>>>>> server for a bit tonight and see if anyone joins me. East coast ppl have a great ping there where as I usually only ping around 90 on that server compared to 45 on the Tasty servers.
But anyways....if anyone wants some target practice, look me up tonight. I'll be on around 8 pst and running straight for the Rail Gun....hahah

Hey All!
I finally got a decent system! Pent 4 - 2.53ghz, Gig 400 speed ram, 250 gig HD, and my old nVidia 5600 256 vid card.
Sure is nice to upgrade and be able to play some of the newer games. And it sure beats that AMD 1500+ I was running.
Just thought I'd show my ugly mug around the forums since I havn't been here in a while.
And if it seems like I'm now a bit harder to hit and a bit more on my aim than normal...now you know why..haha

I may be late on this but why dont you just copy/paste the pac0.pac file from your cd to your quakeII folder...just make a quake2 folder and then try that...could save a bunch of time since you may still be able to do it outside the quake2 installer even though the installer dosent seem to want to move em. O...and there is a possibility that drhor still has the pac0.pac file on his ftp Mad...

There goes free enterprise....it was bound to happen I guess....though I am going to spread this around because it appears this has been going on for a while now and I am just now hearing about it. Maybe if more people were aware of it, it would be harder to implement into a strict reality.

I'd post a pic of myself, but the only one I have is from 20 years ago, so it's not really accurate. I do have one from a few months ago, but the back of ColdFlo's head takes up most of the image, as it's buried in my crotch, and my face is obcured by him flashing the "thumbs-up" sign as he chokes down my wad. Other than that, it's a pretty good pic!
