A couple was invited to a swanky costume party. Unfortunately, the wife came down with a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party alone.

He being a devoted husband protested, but she argued and said she was going to take some aspirin and go to bed and there was no need for his good time being spoiled by not going. So he took his costume and away he went.

The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, awakened without pain and, as it was still early enough, decided to go to the party. Since her husband did not know what her costume was, she thought she would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when she was not with him.

She joined the party and soon spotted her husband cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every nice woman he could, and copping a little touch here and a little kiss there. His wife sidled up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left his current partner high and dry and devoted his time to the new babe that had just arrived. She let him go as far as he wished…Naturally, (since he was her husband.)

Finally, he whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed. So off they went to one of the cars and had a quickie. Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away, went home, put the costume away and got into bed, wondering what kind of explanation he would make for his behaviour. She was sitting up reading when he came in, and she asked what kind of a time he had.

He said: “Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have a good time when you’re not there.”

“Did you dance much?”

“You know, I never even danced one dance. When I got there, I met Pete, Bill Browning and some other guys, so we went into the den and played poker all evening. But you’re not going to believe what happened to the guy I loaned my costume to.”

"Damn, I feel really good right now! I don't even need anything!". Someone could be getting fucked, and I wouldn't even care.

Life feels good right now. I hope everyone is alright

Hehe.

---------------------------------------------
With few exceptions, I don't really get impressed with ANYONE'S guitar playing abilities anymore, even good players don't make me go "wow" anymore, and I really don't care how much more skilled I ever become at it. I like what I like, I do what I do. If I happen to like what someone plays, then it's fine by me. But someone can be really talented, and if I don't enjoy what they're playing, then the technique alone isn't enough to really impress me anymore. I really don't get impressed... by anyone. Good MUSIC impresses me. Good technique is just a "thing people do". To me, I care more about the resulting artwork, not so much the process used to make it.

But... then again,... I did say "with few exceptions".

One exception I stumbled across on youtube tonight. Max Ostro. Apparently this kid is somewhere around 16, maybe 18, not really sure, from Russia, and appears to be well versed in various classical and jazz scales and theory, and apparently already has some type of sponsorships with Ibanez and other companies who appear to have gifted him free gear.

That poofy hair though. Dude, trust me, I was there, the 80's weren't that cool.

Recently heard this really sad news. A huge loss to the Quake 2 community world-wide. Quadz helped a bunch of us with configuring and tweaking Australian Quake 2 servers (OGN and later OzQuake) many years ago. He would always respond quickly to our queries and always had the right solution for everything. His unwavering dedication to the TS Quake 2 community and keeping it thriving for so long, is a monumental feat! Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

I had a hard time swallowing this. I put off acknowledging this, in hopes that quadz would return and that this wasn't true. I am now sharing my condolences.

My family and I grew up playing Quake. Some of my earliest memories in life are playing this game. Part of my development as a human being, as a man, came from this game and this community.

I would like to thank Quadz, and the entire TS community for putting up with my shit over the years.

R.I.P Quadz, you truly will be missed.

There will never be enough words to express how amazing of a person Quadz was. I remember when I first met him at DeathStalker's lan and he was just as lovely of a person online as in person. He helped Jehar and me so much. He took us in our first quakecon and made tastyspleentv possible. Could write up a list, but it wouldn't put it into perspective how big of an impact he had on our online and real life.

We all are feeling the pain of this loss and I'm glad we have each other to lean on. Love you all even when some of you are being or have been absolute brats.

Mrs Quadz, I'm so sorry for your loss and please let me know if you need anything.

i logged on here and read page 5 of the forum instead of page 1 so when i read elysiums comments i was confused....

but after reading everyone's comments from page 1, i am horrified and saddened...

my deep condolences go out to his family and kin. i am so sorry for your loss. If his family ever logs in to read these comments, just know that quadz was a genius in this realm, and we were all grateful to have shared some time with him on our collective journey.

quadz muted me for 8 months in the servers a long time ago (lol) (still a record i think) while ex and the rest bashed me nightly. I was a leftover of hals9000 servers, jumping around playing on random servers.

I found this forum because i wanted to try and convince quadz that i was unfairly targeted and that the commotion was mutual and agreed upon war.

In the course of trying to speak to the mod who muted me, i discovered the community, and over the months, i found that i truly enjoyed the structure, the freedom, and its members. I encountered long lost friends and developed new relationships.

quadz and tastyspleen provided an outlet for many of us, an outlet to decompress and to exercise our innate creativity and absurdity. I am grateful to have chatted with quadz in Irc and on these very forums. I am grateful that he had the godlike level of patience and forgiveness that many of us oddities required. I am grateful to have read his thoughts as his words made me think twice about things i would have never entertained.

I would like to think that i provided some minute joy in his life. I remember moments where he would change my name in game to absurdities and kick me for saying dum things. I remember a streamed match where i made it to the end against adrenalin by picking odd maps, with jehar commenting, and i ended up failing and losing because i ran out of rockets and i tried to run away from the fight. I remember quadz laughing in irc afterwards because i kept crying that everything was rigged.

i would like to think he enjoyed playing ra2 when we would have our nights, and i would like to think he enjoyed my engaging him in these forums on both serious and absurd topics.

eventually after 8 months, he unmuted me and the rest is history.
I am truly grateful that this man existed and that this man dedicated his life to this game, this forum and to this community.

no matter what your religious beliefs are about the afterworld, just remember that this community, his legacy, gives testimony on behalf of the beauty of his essence.

I will miss him greatly.

Godspeed quadz, you still live on in our memories and in our hearts. we love you

Anybody... Anybody at all... feel free to answer this:

Name one new ROCK AND ROLL band from 2010 until now that has put out any good rocking songs. NOT a metal band. Those are plentious these days, and coincidentally, that's kinda why I've somewhat lost my love for metal now.

Because I got to thinking... Jane's Addiction, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, they RAWKED. Even some of the grunge and alternative bands later into the 90's at least sounded like rock music. 2000 to 2010 had plenty of rock bands. But I really haven't heard jack shit anymore that was rock and was worth listening to. What the fuck is going on in music? Where's the rock and roll?

1. When I was 13, I hoped that one day I would have a girlfriend with big tits.

2. When I was 16, I got a girlfriend with big tits, but there was no passion, I decided I needed a passionate girl with zest for life.

3. In college I dated a passionate girl, but she was too emotional. Everything was an emergency. She was a drama queen, cried all the time and threatened suicide. I decided I needed a girl with stability.

4. When I was 25, I found a very stable girl but she was boring. She was totally predictable and never got excited about anything. Life became so dull that I decided I needed a girl with some excitement.

5. When I was 30, I found an exciting girl, but I couldn’t keep up with her. She rushed from one thing to another, never settling on anything. She did mad impetuous things and made me miserable as often as happy. She was great fun initially and very energetic, but directionless. I decided to find a girl with some real ambition.

6. When I turned 40, I found a smart ambitious girl with her feet planted firmly on the ground, I married her. She was so ambitious that she divorced me and took everything I owned.

7. I’m much older and wiser now, and I’m looking for a girl with big tits.
