TeamSpeak Server Rental...

So I'm looking to rent a Teamspeak server so I can get my guild on voice chat for PvP... we got some stinky euros and a couple from Australia in the guild.

1. Any suggestions as to where I should host the server in the world?
2. Does a high latency due to distance even effect Teamspeak that significantly?
3. Suggestion as to who I should rent from?

Wanna make sure I get a server that everyone can use...

I would recommend Ventrilo over teamspeak, I believe it has better codecs available and therefore better sound quality. From personal experience, teamspeak sounds way worse, maybe I happened to join shitty servers every time. The location shouldn't matter much, but if your team is in America then hosting it here somewhere would be the logical choice for lower ping. Ping isn't that big of a deal though in vent/teamspeak. I don't know who you should rent from, there should be a lot of cheap providers available.

I've been very happy with my Vent server from NFOServers (www.nfoservers.com). They have a bunch of locations and prices are nice, and I've not had any lag / downtime and they also offer a free trial so if it ends up not working out good you don't lose anything.
