This happened last night as I was playing on MUTANT. Funny thing is, I was able to keep playing even though the Dialog Box was still up on the screen.

R1CH, do you receive the error reports generated by these crashes?

*edit...appears my screeny did not show the crash dialog box. As stated in the condump it's the typical windows, "(Program) has encoundered a problem and needs to close. Would you like to send an error report?" dialog box.

I've only had q2 throw a crash error like that when I accidentally connect 2 instances of it simultaneously and they fight over control of opengl.

Never had it still be playable afterwards tho.. kinda odd.


I think the windows error reporting all goes back to MS..
R1CH would only get a crash dump if you posted it on his forums.

No, unfortunately I only get error reports uploaded through the R1Q2 error uploader, not the Microsoft one. However the R1Q2 error handler can't catch errors caused by external DLLs, etc.
