That cop needs to be demoted at the very least. After he took his undershorts off, I think it was safe to assume he's not concealing a weapon. I dunno, maybe they're instructed to wait for backup officers. Maybe he didn't want to use mace in a confined underground space like that. He should have kept him from exiting the train at the very least, I know I would rather have to take down a dude hulked up on dust ON THE TRAIN rather than on the platform where he could shove me onto the electrified rail.

The first order of business is to report the location and call for backup. That can take some time. The situation was stable until the guy started running around attacking people, then the officer was forced to take him on. Dusters are crazy strong, feel no pain and are sweating profusely, naked dusters are slippery as greased pigs so officers won't take them on without numerical superiority. He was in the Bronx and had no backup and unknown help from citizens. I think I might have taken him down while he had his pants around his ankles and was less mobile but the radio call might have been holding him back. The officer acted appropriately.

Distributor screwed up. Neither portal is meant for younger players so an E rating is the same as asking for this to happen. Also, IT'S NOT EDUCATIONAL. If the production company is trying to push that crap, then once again they asked for it.

It is a stink about nothing, but it would have been so incredibly avoidable that I can't help but to blame them.

I had read recently about psychological and neurological studies of psychopathy. (The term psychopathy in this case was being used to describe a spectrum including sociopathic as well as psychopathic traits.)

The book is on loan to a friend, so I can't quote; but one aspect that surprised me had to do with parenting.

For children who score high on a callous unemotionality scale, who are considered to be at risk for psychopathy, some of the parenting techniques one might traditionally associate with "good parents" may not work, or may produce the opposite of the intended effect with these kids.

My first thought when seeing teenagers like those in the video is always: what the hell sort of crappy parenting did they receive?

But apparently it's not always that simple...
