really? When I've used it it would stop working & say it's expired & you need to pay.

mirc doenst ever stop working from a trial ending, it just starts using nag screens at start up. if you have more patience then dollars, its just fine.

It takes about 30 seconds for me to start mirc.

Mine appears to have stopped. It mentioned something about my IP changing and that I was banned for a month. Also, the second confirmation box no longer has the continue button, it just says it's expired.

try cleaning your registry using something like ccleaner.

and possibly reinstalling mirc using this:

it's an older version, but I've used it in a trial capacity for a few years now, without it ever crapping out or trying to force my hand at buying it.

That's right! etg hates mibbit with a passion. That's why the tastycast channel is in gg.
