Yeah, she's actually pretty cool from what I've read. And that would be helpful for McCain to have a woman who is also fairly young. That could pull some stray Hillary voters to the GOP side. It's a decent strategy.

But on the other hand... she's a woman.

Kay Bailey Hutchison, Senator from Texas was my first choice for Vice President on the Republican Party Ticket, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was my second choice, so there is no surprise as far as I am concerned
