Just throwing this out there for the computer/laptop inclined.  Any help is appreciated.

My girlfriend is needing a laptop for school.  She will use it mainly for school related stuff.  But I am sure some low quality games, music and movies will be used upon it.

With there being a million laptops and notebooks out there.  Does anyone in the relm of TS have a suggestion?  She is looking to spend a max of $500 bucks or so.

The new ones all come with vista, but look to have some low end specs.  Not sure what the best route is.....Thanks.

anything with a multi-core.  world of difference.  worth the extra $100 or so.

She ran out and bought a Apple G4 - without talking to me.  Only because it was 'cute' and 'white'.   :dohdohdoh:

Can we ban these bots in DM and other servers that just spam bad jokes non-stop? I tried to join earlier and it took me 15 minutes to get in because there were about 10 of them connected
