In this thread I will just collect all the accusations ToxicMonkey brings. It's funny enough to see that he really thinks I'm the main cause of all Jumpmod problems )))

We've had this all out in another thread.  You will argue that it's not hacking but to the average Joe using the jump server who knows nothing about scripting or coding it's the same effect.

Let's put it in simple terms.  If there wasn't people actively trying to HACK the servers and discover VULNERABILITIES that they can take advantage of there would never be threads like this.

OK I shall name and shame:

These 3 used the hack to get better times on certain maps.  Lohmatiy researched and discovered the hack and gave it to his 2 best buddies to use.

Now there is protection on the server which can't discriminate between genuine lag and a hacker.  Therefore I, and others, get kicked regularly for 'irregular movement'.

Lohmatiy eventually came clean with the hack when it became pretty obviuos that something was wrong with certain replays and people started to take notice.  He then went to quadz and said: 'this is how you can protect against it.'

To me this is like a burglar breaking into your house, stealing your valuables, then explaining how to prevent this happening in the future.  The damage has already been done.

He claims to be helping the q2 community protect itself against these exploits.  If we didn't have exploiters like Lohmatiy we wouldn't need 'protection' that sometimes kicks you out of the server on a random basis.

Did Lohmatiy help the community? Did he enhance Q2 jump?  Or was it better before he came along?  It doesn't take a genius.

I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.  How many other hacks and exploits has he found that maybe he isn't telling us about?  He now has the entire q2 jump source code to play about with.  Am I the only person that finds this a little bit disturbing?

Hey, no, it isn't. Well, it's too obvious ToxicMonkey plays there more often than on any other server. =D

Plus, TDM rules are very simple, no bots, no wh's, a person who gets more frags, wins. In Jumpmod, rules aren't so simple... Check the 'to block or not to block scs' thread, if you feel interested.
