I actually like a few of Tom Cruises movies, even though I think he's quite a mediocre actor. If he's aiming to improve the overall public view on scientology, he's more or less sticking the gun barrel in his fucking mouth. I had NO idea WHAT THE HELL he was talking about during most of that. I'm not keen on collective identity religions which champion altruism, but at least THEY all come right out and SAY what they have to say. If he's employing that vagueness for the purpose of sparking curiosity and intrigue, someone else in that church needs to sit him down and say, "Look dude. You're making us look bad. We're gonna have to ask you in the nicest way we know how to pleeeeease shut the fuck up."

Tom Cruise has never been perceived as having Einsteinian qualities but in this video he really is somewhat of a dim bulb. He tries hard to sound intellectual and authoritive but isn't fooling anyone. An odd choice for the Scientology folk to have as one of their spokesmen. Travolta is much better spoken and keeps that side of himself very private. A wise choice...

I also found this video very informative.  It takes awhile to get started, but gets very intersting when the speaker goes into the insider details of what goes on behind the scenes in Scientology:

This was the first time Tory shared her 30 years of experience in Scientology with a large audience and they were very receptive. She talks about her history with the group as wel las detailing Scientology's fraud and abuse.

now I just watched this video (the start of this thread), and Tom Cruise says something like this:
"I wish the world were a different place, I wish I could just play, romp around, but I have to do something".

Then I"m reading this magazine, where he took all his friends to some place like Aspen. Built a huge realistic Igloo for one night, for his friends to have dinner, had snowmobiles for them all, and god knows what else. Well i'll put my faith in the doctors, he can put his faith in some mumbojumo terms, and philosophy.

tom cruise isnt crazy hes just not very good at expressing his views....i actually agree with scientology's view of psychiatry...pharm drugs for depression and sleeplessness arent solving the patients real problem, the drugs only mask it....instead of prescribing drugs, doctors should be prescribing exercises, diet regimens, and talk therapy....i think thats a reasonable claim most people would at least consider.....and i think this is tom's major point though hes really bad at expaining it.
