the disruptor was not in single player because it was added much later after the final quake2 patch was released
they at that point released a special DM version that had it

it had nothing to do with not enabling it because it wouldnt be fun

I played this game on and off for about 4 years before I quit (back in the mplayer days)--I played Blood by Monolith for a long time, moved to Q2 (all I ever played was ffa) ive been playing q2 for about a year now--your telling me with my year of practice vs your 8 straight years....your still not better than me?

i never said i played for 8 straight years
it was on and off for the most part, i was never very dedicated to playing better

that is why im not as good as some of the league players
and i have no intention of ever being that way. i cant stand being overly competitive
just kills the fun of it

except now that quake2 has almost become fully competitive
i cant stand the community anymore

thats what happened to quakeworld, ill never return there again
