Salvia sucks. The hallucinations are a little weird, nothing like LSD. Kinda like falling into a looooooong tunnel even though you're sitting down. And yeah, you better be sitting down. Preferably on the floor, but I suppose a nice heavy couch would work since they're not very easy to flip. The hallucinations weren't particularly pleasant in my opinion. It also made my chest and arms feel like it was on fire for a bit, like hot flashes or something, I dunno. All in all, not a "fun" psychoactive to play with. Might as well stick to some really potent weed, it's a lot more enjoyable and lasts much longer.

I remember me and ma5 (tourney player that several of you will know) smoked some potent salvia extract one time. I fell on my bed and didn't move for like 6-7 minutes... tbh I felt really, really head drunk except without nausea. it's not my idea of a 'trip' exactly.

Can't believe it's still legal though, I thought they were talking about banning it long ago.. Kind of like these herbal smokes with synthetic thc, no way they can stay on the shelf for too much longer. First time I heard of that shit is in cleveland, arm0r. Or Willoughby I mean, at tye dye dky. "Black magic"... have you smoked it before? Remarkably similar to marijuana (not in look/taste though, unfortunately).

Been there. My 'good' friend passed me a bowl upon arrival to my place for a visit and said here try this. I thought it was just a big bowl of weed (1/2flOz bowl) and lit it with a butane lighter. I usually like to get the whole bowl cherry'd up for smoking. What a scary trip to put on someone.

Usually I'll look up info on erowid.org before trying anything new. It's a heavy trip the higher the concentration you go. Usually the chemical activates under direct flame so my torching the bowl hit it all into activity. I had to be sat down by my friend because I couldn't get my foot over the threshold of my patio door. At that point the hallucination didn't kick in. I still thought I had smoked a big bowl of really strong weed. So now he's sat me on the couch, I'm watching Weird Al's UHF, and it hit's me. My head is a carousel and what I'm looking at unfolds like images on an accordion or the Album Slide Show in iTunes. Not cool if you don't know what the hell's going on or why. I panicked and wanted to call the ambulance or police. Slowly the trip faded and it left me in a cold sweat and I felt really sketchy for the next hour.

Trip: 8/10 if you are ready for it.
Unprepared: *latch on to something and pray for reality to come back home.

HAHA! Nice description! Exactly. When I tried it, it was something that was pretty brand new to the head shops. At first I thought it was just some lookalike bud like they sometimes have for beefing up bags you want to sell, so I asked a little about it. You can't ask them "Hey, does this shit get you high?", so all you can really ask is "Does it work? Does it do anything?", and all they really legally say is, "Yeah it works." I think I got a small packet of the least potent shit they had. I think it was something like 15x, and the most powerful shit they had was 40-50x. Me and my girl took it up to the mountains for a camping trip. We sat out in the middle of nowhere at the folding table by the fire with a big bottle of Jagermeister, a half ounce of some mids, and this shit. I had my huge 2 gram glass bowl and a glass 1 footer bong with a great big fishbowl slide that probably held 6 or 7 grams... yeah, I hate reloading. I hand picked the weed into tiny little pieces and packed 3/4 the bowl as tight as I could get it, then packed the top 1/4 with the salvia. I figured the salvia would have effects similar to weed. Wow, I was wrong. I pulled on it until the chamber and pipe was completely full of smoke, then kept pulling a little more just to make sure I'd have PLENTY of smoke to fill my lungs as full as possible. The first hit didn't really do anything. Little did I know, I should've waited a bit... because after holding that in for probably 30 seconds, I spewed it out and immediately took another hit just like that one. By the time I exhaled the second one, it hit me all at once like jumping off a 5 story building face first into the sidewalk. BAM! My girl was hitting from the bowl at the same time I was, so were both sitting there at the table across from each other just completely dumbfounded by what we had done. At first we were kinda giggling about it, then after about 2 minutes I started thinking, "Oh shit, I hope this bullshit doesn't last more than an hour, I can't even lift a glass to drink!". What made it even more unnerving was that fact that the only real light we had to see anything around us was the unsteady flickering of the bonfire which made it kinda eerie.

I was pretty relieved when it wore off completely after about 5 or 6 minutes, but we ended up doing one more rip on the bong with some more packed in there just because we had nothing better to do. After that, we decided to put the shit away and stick with weed and alcohol for the rest of the night.

The next morning we kinda talked about the experience and I said how it made my skin feel like it was burning and made me a little agitated like a bad nic-fit. She pretty much said the same thing, that it made her pissed off at me for no apparent reason.

I took the bag to work with me at the job site the next week and told my foreman about it, asked him if he'd ever tried it before. He said no, and also declined my offer for a free pack of it. I ended up giving the rest of the packet to my girlfriends younger brother. I'm just glad I got the weaker stuff. It was only 15 or 20 bucks, the more powerful stuff was 40 or 50. I would've hated to have wasted that much on something that sucked that bad.

Oh yeah, and it tastes like total crap too. Like smoking some of that gross herbal smoke shit you'd buy at an American Indian heritage festival. Yeah, if you ever go to one of those and see some herbal Indian smoke, don't waste your time. It has no effects at all, and it tastes probably similar to smoking fuckin' marigold flowers.

Drinking some homemade wine tonight. Shits actually pretty good, not bitter at all like I thought it might be. A little light tasting though, probably used too much water. It's not the color I expected either. When I started fermenting it was a nice deep red, now it's more of a light purple pinkish color. Used a shitload of sugar and more yeast than usual too, so it's pretty strong, tastes about like 20% alc. I plan on getting sloppy and hammered on this shit within the next few hours.
