Well that strap is pretty cool because every single spike on it was stolen from Hot Topic. It came with the studs, but they just weren't enough.

The guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul studio, and yes that is the stock finish. A few of them (not sure how many) were custom made (in korea $:-\$ ) for Rockport shoes as a promotion. The local rockport dealer decided not to do the promotion, so he left them sitting around his house for months, until his wife told him to get em the hell out. They then ended up at "Vermont Folk Instruments" where I saw it and was like OMGWTF LOOK AT THAT GUITAR I WANT IT, so I bought it. The guy who sold it to me was really nice, but I think it was the first electric guitar he'd ever sold. he also gave me a really good price ($250) as opposed to my other LP, which was $540. It used to have a sticker under the bridge that said "rockport" but I took it off, and since it was on display in the store window the whole guitar is faded slightly except for the area under the letters on the sticker, so if you look closely you can still see where it says "rockport". I love that guitar.

I play it through a Mesa Boogie single rec 50 watt combo with Mesa 6L6 power tubes and a celestion black shadow speaker (custom). I use a Boss TU-2 Pedal tuner, a Boss BF-3 Flanger, A Lexicon mpx-110 rackmount multi effects processor, a Dunlop Mister Crybaby Volume/wah pedal, an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi, and an Ibanez TK-99US (I think that's it) Tube King Distortion. I use as much Monster Cable as I can afford, and the rest is the cheap stuff that I have to replace every other month. I use Ernie Ball Power Slinky strings and Dunlop Tortex Sharp .73 mil picks

Boogie makes some killer amps, including the one you have. I bought a Bass 400 head years ago without ever hearing one - no dealers at that time around here - and have never regretted it. We need to start a music thread one day...I think there's several musicians 'round here.

I'm contemplating between the mesa 400+ and one of the Ampeg heads Svt-III or IV. Not sure as of yet. My GK 1001rb-II isn't doing it for me anymore...any suggestions?

Sweet! - Cause im a beginner in guitar i just got a pretty crap gear set up which follows as this:

Ion IGA03 Guitar
Ion Strap (Always falls off)
25 Watt amp with inbuilt drive and effects
Simpsons 0.90mm medium plectrums
No pedals yet
Fender strings
Hand.

Hehe it aint that great but whats the point in buying real strats and les pauls when i dont even know wether im gonna carry on!

Dude, when its guitars, go Ibanez or go home. Get a GSR205, the best beginner guitar. That is, of course, if ya going bass. But still, Ibanez rocks!! I recently bought a GRG321 electric, and it whips ass, even though I have a cheap ass speakers/amps

My cousins got a red Ibanez and its pretty nice, though if i could pick any guitar in the world it would be this fender stratocaster in 'mexican' colour! its hot.

Best guitar is the Ibanez RG321 - expensive version of my guitar

lol j/k , Funny, i went round town with my mate andy and we went in EVERY shop, the only ones who could take us said we'd have to be put on a waiting list AND write a CV - So its too hard to find jobs...
