Well im not really sure If this is the place to
share this info, but hey it seemed somewhat
logical at the time So here we go.  Have a
bind or an alias that you use while quakin?
Ill share my grenade alias with you all.  I
find this is particularly useful when im in tight
situations.

alias -launch "-attack;weaplast"
bind mouse3 +launch

This is a great alias (IMO) and i would reccomend
binding it to a button on your mouse.

Here's my contribution (for now). This is my mouse scrollwheel best weapon bind, can't live without it !

bind MWHEELDOWN "use shotgun;use machinegun;use hyperblaster;use super shotgun;use chaingun"
bind MWHEELUP "use grenades;use grenade launcher;use railgun;use rocket launcher"

Here's a zoom-in alias I use... not too often, but occasionally for those "way across the map" shots...

I used cvars to hold the "normal" and "zoomed" values to make it easier to tweak in-game.

Here's a couple of scripts I use to do the double rj. You will probably need to tweak them to fit your style.

The guy I got these from had them auto selecting the RL no matter what wep you were holding, but on dialup (me) it takes too long.

As long as you hold down the key you fire. They also force centerview. You can remove the force_centerview if you want.

Both of these are set for my dialup - you WILL want to change the cl_*speed stuff.

ive no binds for anything but default really.
i need something better to change weapons i keep pressing the { } keys or just hitting number 7 or 9 on the keyboard

this lets me go to any server i specify. and tells me what server im heading to by simply typing go"name" I.E (goquake, gosir, gokansas)
