Anyway, shouldn't the superintelligent aliens who built you have discovered Goo-Gone?

I mean they find our lost space probe, analyze the hardware, decode the programming, learn our language, construct a giant machine the size of several planets to carry out its mission... and they're fooled by a little grease smudge?
