I and EyeStrain had been thinking about gathering the best Frags of the Tourney and produce a demo-movie. However Keygrip didn't think so.

If anyone's up for that, that'd be great!

the only part of making movies or demo movies is finding the frags.. if you want, you can send me the full demos and tell me where the frag is and i can put them together.. but then again, im not that great in keygrip daelmun's better

Yeah, keygrip2 is a pain in the ass. Not only is it not too stable, sometimes I can't connect to my own host or whatever it does to view the 3d-preview, so I have to restart windows in order to make it work. So whenever I launch it I cross my fingers praying it will work. Another problem is that it eats resources like there is no tomorrow, if I run winamp and keygrip2 and mIRC and allseeing eye with a few open ie windows I get a shitload of error messages before it closes down. And working with big demo files is a pain in the ass, at least when mixing diff demos from diff mods, to make the the models and sounds work right. It's not really that hard, just annoying

Editing model and sound list with big demos is really slow and boring. But if people need help with something I guess I can try to help out, but I'm not in the mood to work much with keygrip2 anymore, I swore I would never touch that again after my dm1 jump demo, but now I use it to edit out short clips from demos I find nice/funny.

Anyway, the hardest part is watching demos and finding the frags, it can be really boring

well its not actually an air rocket or nothing.. but this was this morning on NYGANG server (its really quick. for some reason my r1q2 loads players/weapons ect. a second or two after i connect, if it does it to yours too you might wanna watch this in regular q2, as its immediatly after the start (fucked up editing

Well, this isn't an airrocket, but I thought naymlis might like it cause I know he enjoys prediction rockets as well. Hit this nice double prediction rocket on JQuestt an hour or go or so. And I thought it was cool. The recam is done with minimal effort, it's there just to show what went on behind the walls (for those of you who don't see through them).
