Since polycount has been down for the count for quite some time, cheapalert has archived a large amount of q2 models available for download.

its a tragedy that alot of the models and mods are lost forever...

i used to have SOG which was doom,quake,wolfenstein, all on q2 engine with all the enemies guns and maps, it was awesome.

cant find it now.

also, missing alot of models i used to love, i think polycount is gone forever... theyve been in update mode for like 3 years...

There's no "cheapy" user on tastyspleen. What is the full URL you're trying to reach?

Cheapalert is the guys name who was hosting the models. (Polycount guy)

cheapy's site is here but nothing is backed up there i think.

I'll do something about it soon because I also have a quake2 model collection (but not only that, but a large amount of half-life models as well)
