Anyone remember back in 2003-2004 there was a server called Warehouse? It played nothing but the warehouse map and it was friggen great. I havn't played quake 2 in a while...(WOW)...but I am getting back into it and I am wondering if the "Warehouse" server still exists. Thanks.

DS Warehouse AND Mage Warehouse are in full effect. Have been playing a lot on DS Warehouse/q2dm8 lately and have been having a blast. I love that map, very fast paced and I can get around the map really quickly which is fun.

I was mistaken when I earlier said that DS had forced anti-cheat. It appears to be a great, stable server.

Easiest way? If you have the HD space, just duplicate your Q2 directory.

Incorrect, We do not or have we ever enforced the anticheat.dll with exception to about 3 ips that are required to use it.

And there is no such thing as far as I know "different colored models" Models do not have colors to that statement is untrue.
Skins are colored, and there are no skin checks done on our servers, as skins are not a problem like models are. (models can be spiked)

Thanks guys. I found the server, now I just need people to play. I use gamespy to find servers...is that a noobie thing to do? Are there servers out there that are awesome to play on and gamespy doesn't see them? Thanks again fellas.

There doesn't seem to be a perfect server browser. I've been pretty happy with Yahoo's All Seeing Eye, especially since r1ch fixed the missing County identifiers. Others will recommend Xfire, or qtracker. I think there are few others as well.

Mage Warehouse may be the server you were originally talking about. It's been up for years and is still up. Here is the IP. It doesn't get as much activity as Ds Warehouse these days though.

at MK, we also have a dm8 only server. if ur on the TS network, just type 'goto mk5' or 'goto polly'

I think he is referring to Mage Warehouse. It has been around forever and is still out there. I had it until I built my new rig the other day.

arock I use gamespy3D and have no problem seeing all the servers. I've been using it for quite a while now at least 4 years or so. The ping listed is not correct being the only problem encountered.
frag on brother, glad ur coming back to the best fps ever!

ps the mage warehouse seems very laggy now and has been for some time, at least for me.

I remember Mage's Warehouse, I used to play over there before I discovered xquake. I didn't know they still ran that server. Maybe I should stop by there and see if [Mage]Techyon is still around.

Mage Warehouse still runs,
Its the Original Warehouse server.

Its at 66.45.101.50:27910

I added the map levels.bsp into a mapcycle in a attempt to get more traffic there,
But its not downloading the map for everyone.

So, Here is the map!

I know the server is running worse than it used to but its been dead for so long that I havent spent alot of time working on it.
