I was siding with you. You haven't even seen me play, Nor does it matter. This is about the attitudes of the players that inhabit ts, Like the one you had just now. Yes, I know this is from 2006, I said that I know, I don't think it matters

everyone just takes stuff the wrong way. They take losses the wrong way, they take wins the wrong way, they take 1v1 refusals the wrong way, and they take 'stacking teams' the wrong way.

People shouldn't demand rematches and have such skewed opinions on how a match went down. it's always 'i raped him v. he barely beat me when i wasn't trying then he denied the rematch'.

People shouldn't let a win get to their head. Chances are, esp. if it's dm1 pickups, many people aren't going to be taking it too seriously(only you are). I would goof off in plenty of matches.

Sometimes I just don't feel like 1v1ing....no big deal.

And everyone's favorite: team stacking. It's not a big deal. Me and pb used to team a bunch. Everyone is like 'wow, obvious stack'. Even if we played blood/neticz we'd get comments like that from them(which against them is not stacking obviously). It's not like we're blatantly stacking the team... look at it from my POV: if I join for 2-3 dm1 pickups it's much more fun for me if I have a teammate that will not 1) rocket me in the back 2) get in my way 3) be positioned right in correspondence with my own location. this one means a lot... you can be a total newb but just stand somewhere and keep someone from getting a weapon/item or 2v1ing your teammate...(someone who met these qualities was hard to come by when i played)

yet at the same time I enjoy being stacked against. Nothing to lose and the challenge is fun.

1 V 1 and teams is the mod that most of the upper tier players play. I know not everyone plays serious all the time, but more players do take tourney serious than players in other mods.
Basically if your going to play tourney you better be able to handle some smack or don't play the mod.
