So... I have desided to start mapping (again after an extend break). In the past I only made myself single player maps, but now I am making rail and deathmatch maps. The first map in my series which I am going to release is another kitchen map. I have completed enough of it to post some screenshots.

hehe, I just want to start some hype.

Ps. I will try to hurry and finish the rest, but I just got out of surgery and am feeling pretty low. Give me a few days

Needs a sink and a washer and dryer as well. Then my girlfriend would feel right at home!

Interesting scale. It's not as large as the "rats" series. This is more like "cats", hehe. (Actually it's not too far from a realistic human scale). I haven't seen a natural scale house in Quake2 since Action Q2. The counter top textures are odd, but the level of detail is nice. Add some light fixtures to the ceiling.

So what's the plan? An entire house?

Good job so far, it certainly has a kitchen feel to it. You say you're going to release 'another' kitchen map so I take it you know this has already been done, see ven_dm4, or is that the idea?

There are many maps out there that are better than q2dm1. Doesn't matter. People still hardly play them in comparison.
