So fragger keeps bothering me and wants my "ping bot"

Alright, here's something that does have a use. It spoofs your internet ping. On the command line, type in "pingbot -adjustping 100 connect (server)" and your ping will be raised by about 100 ms, or whatever else you decide to put in for this value. Of course, your fake ping will still be proportional to your real ping, so it won't look fake at all. This is perfect for LPB's who don't want people to know they are LPB's. You can also put in a negative number to make your ping lower, although I'm not sure that there is any use for this. Have fun. Thanks goes to Demonstar for ideas and help on this project.

Does that Pingbot adjust thing really work? If it's true, I submit that Warkilla's been using it for some time now! He's on early in the morning, for those who don't know him. He's always got a 150'ish ping that doesn't vary much, but plays very fast. I'm tempted to believe he's really a 75ms guy (or at least my rationalizing it makes it easier to lose to him!)

Well sometimes if your on broadband and your coming over long distances your ping wont vary much. Some of the really good hpb are on broadband but they are just coming in from a distance.. i think warkiller is in alaska? errr i forget where he is. but then again i think ive pinged him and his ping was pretty low. maybe its just the route???
fishbone is a pretty good hpb too!
