Years back I did a lot of experimentation with Open GL settings and found a good balance between light and color without it being too hyped. These are:

set vid_gamma 0.33
set gl_modulate 4.0
set intensity

Alright Guys Thx even tho it doesnt look quite like im used to ill get used to it

my gl_modulate - 3
     vid_gamma - 0.6
      Intensity- 1.5
      polyblend - 0
