I am tryna find the best bot mod for Quake 2...
I've tried Gladiator, Famkebot (completely sux), Arena amongst others.

Gladiator BOT seems good, but it gives shit sometimes.
Any1 else know of a good bot mod out there?

I usually use the C.R. Bot it's nice and easy to use the only down fall is the bots get stuck in wierd spots... or give the eraser bot a try they are really good as well.

Eraser I've tried and CR Bot sounds familiar, but I'll give that a go!

I pretty much just use Ratbot, but i've heard good things about that freak one... er... fr1q2 ? Something like that... anyways, anyone know where i can find a good wallhack mod?

I find Gladiator Bot to be the best - coded by the same dude who did Quake 3 Arena's bot code!
Famkebot is fun to mess around with on coop-mode, even though they are more stupid than Bill Clinton.

Its a Frnk bot and yes that seems to be the most popular that I have seen.But I wouldnt reccomned using it on Tastyspleen, console will rape your .cfg for fun if you do that! mooohahahahahaha

Browsing my old demos I found this little treasure of a demo. It's all the neat frags I had on the gladiator bot while being offline a year and a half ago. It's actually not half bad a watch, some nice stuff there. Some not so spectacular stuff as well, but worth a look if you want some inspiration on how to enjoy playing a bot 1v1. Cause it certainly doesn't play in a very entertaining way, so you need to make the best out of it.

Anyway, it's just lots of frags without any fancy editing or anything

My bot of choice: GSB (The Goldsoft Bot) based on the (also good) 3zb2 bot.
Easy to set up and it also uses .chn files so you can learn them every trick you want them to perform. (explained in the readme)
Ya, GSB is a tough bot, just how I like it and it's nice for testing maps and other stuff.
