I'm just curious what most players use. It'd be interesting to find correlations in settings like fov, inverted mouse, sensitivity, etc.. and player's skill level. Sensitivity is difficult to pin down because it varies with platform, hardware, vid_ref, etc. Anyway.. vote away

Btw, 120 for me. I've experimented with values between 100 and 135. Values greater than 120 are sometimes tolerable for me if I'm on a wide screen display and using a wide aspect ratio video mode (read: > 4:3).

100 here, 16" syncmaster @ 75 hz, aprq2, 4.5 sens with mx-518 @ 1600dpi.

i use an FOV of 90-100 on a 19" viewsonic crt 800x600 @ 70 hz, sensitivity 6.5 and I use an MicroSoft USB optical wheel mouse on every comp I own.

and I like seeing my guns. lol.

120 fov on 1280 x 960 17" viewsonic.

I don't see my gun and playing on 90 fov seems like running in mud.

Sensitivity 6.8 w/ optical mouse (probably 400 dpi)
512x384 w/ 17" LCD
un-inverted mouse setting =]

I'll be honest, I completely estimated that.. I just dont see how it can be over 16 inches :S it must be though. I dunno, don't care to find out.

Why such a low resoloution. Personally I can't stand it at 640x480, everything is to cramped up. Of course I have fps, time, chat hud, and ping displayed as well

Also, I have to see my gun on screen, otherwise I just feel weird.

Okay, so most people seem to be around the same fov. But wow, I play at a higher resolution.. 1680x1050 on a 21.2" LCD. Sensitivity of 0.5 with a Razer 1600dpi.

i use fov 125, but i have a very nice moniter and it just seems to work for me. I used to use 114, and i also liked that number.
