i like hub and fusion, both good maps, but for ts500, i'd say hub.

i LOVE the idea of a random spawning quad.

i'd love to see that in a server. vanilla2?

Yes good find ReC, I checked and it seems that map uses exactly the same spawn system. The only difference is that when it's done serverside no one has the chance to learn the quad sequence which I think will minimize quadcontrol.

What a surprise

But it still is just an idea of course and besides this would only involve the powerups (if present) not the map itself. Although I understand how it would alter the gameplay of players who like to time it. Call me crazy but I think that it would be more interesting to see others also glow blue once in a while instead of the same one or two players who'd probably still win without it. I remember seeing good players leave in the middle of the last TS matches because of this.

I would like to play Sewer64 as a TS500. It's a fun map, but you would need many playes to make it fast paced. If there were a few players, 500 frags would take a long time. How would the map be chosen? By a vote or the powers that be?

Im all for the quad and everything else but the BFG, i hate that stupid thing, and plus quad might actually make the time go by faster if it respawns in different places.

To those of you who want the Quad to be enabled to make the game go by faster...Did you forget the original point of this tournament? It's an endurance test. Trying to make the game last under an hour was not the original intention of the tournament. Suck it up and play a 4 hour game if you have to.

Incidentally, the first TS500 was played without quad, albeit on a relatively small map (q2dm8).
