As everyone knows, MessageMode2 has to be used during Tourney Matches.

During warmups (of a Tourney Match) - If one of the two players requests MM2, the Referee will enforce it.
Warmups can be as long as the two players wish, until they both ready up.

This will be added to the rules.

Yeah, show respect for ongoing games, and do not make uneccessary comments in mm1 or change names or other behavior that can distract the players. Good work by admins to make this clear to players entering the server, and didn't have any troubles with that in my games. And think it's nice that spectators are allowed while games are played, makes it more exciting to play. Of course you feel some pressure to perform at your best, but that's just a good thing.

Anyway, I advise players to record demos in their own povs as that makes the best demos for the rest of us to watch. Chasecam demos in 3rd pov is not nearly as enjoyable in my eyes (bad pun on "in eyes cam").

Anyway, good job in the tourney this far!

in my game banes wouldn't stfu during the warmup.. I think this is the point they're trying to get across.

chacal threw the fuel on that fire, honestly what was i bitching about the whole time? chacal forcing me to use mm1 before anyone cared, all the other specs were using mm1 too, and you and mad were just chilling, then chacal starts enforcing this shit before anyone gives a crap, and you know i cant keep my mouth shut about something i think is wrong, but once mad asked me to stop, i went to mm1 to continue the bitch fest

one more thing to clear up with the rules, if the people in warm up mode dont care if we use mm1 while they are in warm up mode, can refs force specs to use mm2 anyway?

Well - you should always obey your Referee with humility

If none of them asks mm2, then people are free to use mm1. But be careful, there is also a rule concerning 'Chat hijacking' which you have to comply with!

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. It's about clarification.

this is how I have mine....

bind z "messagemode2"

but you can just type messagemode2 before everything you say if you don't feel like binding it
