Hey all i want to watch demos but how do i watch them? do i need some program?

Download the demo, put it in baseq2/demos, open quake, type "demomap DEMONAME.dm2"

Oh, and please replace DEMONAME with the actual demo's filename.

Demoplayer is great, but I wish it was still under dev. Maxclients keeps getting flooded when I use demoplayer, which makes it a lot less useful. But yeah, it's not all that tough. If demoplayer works for you, then go for it.

Deathstalker i went to site i dl it but it says its not a file

Like [BTF]DeathStalker  said, all you have to do is put the demo file in your quake 2\baseq2\demos folder (make a new folder called demos if you have to). Then in quake 2 press the ~ key to get to console and type demomap demoname.dm2 and replace demoname with the file name of your demo.

I'ts map demoname.dm2 is it not? Thats if you dont use those worthless quake2 clients that are supposed to catch hax0rs.
