jager while im normally on your side, in the other thread you said people who succumb to drugs or alchohol until their life is in the shitter are just plain weak... passive eugenics and whatnot.. i completely agree, but its the same thing with video games and most everything else in life.. you can either take it or not, your friend couldnt take it, he was weak and the gene pool is better off without him

I've noticed people drop dead from marathon bouts of Counterstrike too.Mainly in Asia.Sitting at the computer in the 24 hour cybercafe doing anything will cause all sorts of nasty blood flow problems.And these are "adults" too: old enough to be responsible for their own actions.I think the problem is more of a Why Can They Sit Here for 36 hours without anyone caring?Not even themselves.Anyone remember Max Headroom? Some whiz-kid hacker invented condensed commercials to discourage channel switching,and to the true couch potatoes this meant Death.Their brains couldn't process the information from being too out of shape and they just exploded.And what did Bryce,the hacker,say when they told him about the phenomonon?

Correction You have a first person veiw on how WoW took the love of your life away.... I cant belive I'm saying this but I agree with Kobra . I guess I just can't understand how people can throw away their normaly good lives to play a game like WoW. However I can see why people throw away their lives to do drugs, not that it's a good thing but it's far more understandable. You people are socially unstable in my opinion.
