Oh and btw you know nothing about in flames. They started out as a thrash metal band with lunar strain, not melodic death metal. Yeah, they evolved into it BUT their newest cds can even be moreso classified as 'melodic death metal'. YES, I favor their old stuff compared to their new but since there is no comparision in my brain to your very small one, you cannot appreciate their new stuff. It has a different sound, but it still has awesome guitar and drums, and it's recorded INFINITELY better. I guess good guitar, good drums, and a good recording SUCK

Regardless whether or not you don't like the band or you don't think their a true metal band or for whatever reason... this is list YOUR top 10 metal bands, not somebody elses. Why bash somebody elses favorites? Sure some bands listed don't fall under the metal category but you'd be surpised that alot of main stream 'pop' bands do fall under some type or form of metal. Stop trying to look cool because you 'think' you know what you're talking about.

It's useless to argue about who is more metal, and it's easy to dredge up some fucking elite pagan black metal band that no one's ever heard of and be like "YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT EVILGOATKILLER? and as for system of a down not being metal, you obviously have your head up your ass. Just because they are popular does not mean they aren't metal. Keep in mind that not all bands lose the ability to play "real" metal after they get a record deal.

So why not get your head out of your ass and have a constructive discussion?

Oh man last Thursday we shot over to Mark's Show Place in Bedford NH to check out Soulfly (Last time I saw them was about 4yrs ago hah!)... they put on a kick ass show, I'm still sore. No mosh pitting my ass, we ripped that place apart the second they went on stage. I was pretty much in heaven. Wild Turkeys, Hot Naked Chicks and Metal. Best night of my life. Oh and yeah, I didn't end up going to work the next day. haha
