Normally I wouldn't post a demo like this, but the last time I asked him to 1v1, he told me not to waste his time and went obs. The tables have turned! This demo is a good example of why relying on the railgun doesn't get you far. EZ.

I can't pass up this win-win opportunity: to both praise waff AND laugh at f0cus, arguably the biggest herb ever to play q2((sorry und0uchable...(btw notice both players's names use the main vowel "0")).
Like Granny's ridixuously[sic] one-sided clowning of f0cus, waff almost frags kard at will, who's always dangerous during the first minute of a match(that pill almost hit u in the face waff!) Once waff establishes control, he makes good on his promise to show how solid RL>>>pesky RG('cept maybe kickr0's---oops he's got an "O" too..hmmm). Again this mirrors Granny's rocket-heavy domination in his demo.
To me the best shot waff makes is near the 2:08 mark wherein the following classic dm1 scenario: waff takes serious damage escaping from lift running inside and up steps to SSG hall. Q2 Textbook says that f0cus will chase outside up steps to SSG hall window where waff will try to get health. Knowing this, waff will anticipate and fire some rox at health packs through the window and continue to outside rail pool area to possibly drop down to health packs there. So far 90% of veteran gx/tourney dm1 duelers will follow this. BUT...instead of a quick flick rock to health pack(f0cus DOES move fast), waff places a sweet rock halfway down the steps wall leading up to SSG and inflicts maximum splash damage, completely turning the scenario 180. This shot establishes waff on par with the few "signature" dm1 duelers playing today.(By "signature" I mean great players whose style defines them uniquely even when aliased)
So, you can argue that his down the lift slug looked great or some of his strafe 'n chain timing tactics worked very well -- the 2:08 shot defines the match. Oh and not to leave f0cus left out: So you blame 10 minutes of waff foofing the living EZness out of you on lag? Ya.

Quake II is not 27 years old. I refuse to accept THAT much time has gone by.
