Modern music starting sucking right around 1994. Today it's a vast wasteland.

I've gone back and started listening to artists I kind of ignored in the 80's, Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry, Brain Eno, etc. They rock!

NO... MTV, BET, etc just flood the airways with some of the trashiest music of today, like the mainstream emo-wannabe metal and fucking IGNORANT rap songs. Apparently thats what the average rich blonde 17 yr old girl likes listening to.

Examples: Fall Out Boy, Dem Franchise Boys, Sugarcult, Good Charlotte, TI, MIMS, young jeezy, panic! at the disco. WHAT THE HELL!?

EDIT: and right now, i'm listening to "One Dollar Records" by Drunk Horse. Go to their myspace, the song is available for download, i would recommend it to anyone that likes a mixture of southern rock, blues, and psychedelic rock.
