When I first saw Lewis Black I wasn't on board with his intensity or outrage. But now that I've seen him a few times and understand where he's coming from (ie the absurdity of the world today) I think he's a comedic genius.

It provides a breakdown of creationist claims, category by category, discipline by discipline, and provides logic- and science-based refutation of each claim, with references.

Examples...

* CH100: Biblical Accuracy
* CH200: Age of the Universe

etc. etc.

I'm in awe just of how all the information is organized. (I've often wished for forums software that would allow an editor or editors to create and maintain a drill-down list like that for topics that have already been covered in a discussion...)

Awesome! I love seeing examples of that sort of neuro-linguistic trickery... and whatever the term is for the silent manipulations he did while the guy was facing away from him.

Watching some more of his videos... In this one, where he convinces a guy to like the gift he's bought for him (even though it isn't what he wanted), it truly amazed me that the guy remained convinced even when he was later presented with unassailable evidence to the contrary:

yeah, and it doesn't work on many people imo. you can see where he fails with the hot dog guy, he probably also knows how to scope out people who seem suscepticle. maybe he quits an attempt if he determines they might not fall for it. looks like he gets people emotional and unfocused, kind of what magicians do. still pretty cool

There are also clips of him where hypnosis has nothing to do with what he is trying to accomplish, and they're equally impressive in my opinion.
