How specifically does THE LORD inform you as to the method of determining how long to leave a brain-dead patient on artificial life support?

I deleted it. After re-reading it, it sounded like what I thought was just a bunch of boring self-indulgence, elitist waxings, and unsolicited opinionations. Albeit that my declared religion is elitist by nature, I didn't see that it would further the discussion either, so I shitcanned it.

But to answer the question: If all else fails... then there is only one option. Death. If you find an alternative to death, please let me know. I've met a few people in my lifetime who've told me they read the Holy Bible. They've claimed that it has all the answers to life's great questions. They've claimed that it holds the key to eternal life. They've claimed that they've gained eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, as their lord and savior.

They are dead now. Looks like they were wrong.

I don't wish to especially single out Christians and call them stupid just because I don't like their brand of spiritual guidance. They aren't particularly special in that department, so I see no need to focus a majority of time on showing them in a negative light. They are no different from the countless millions of other individuals involved in other religions who have sought the answer to the question, "What is the meaning of life?" It seems pretty ridiculous that so many differing religions would focus on subjects like "death" and the supposed "afterlife" when "life" is the thing they want to know the meaning of. They miss the forest for the trees.

Just my opinion. You asked for it, so there it is.
