I'm pretty sure it was city1 on the edge of forever, 'cause I believe it was a play on the title of this old time-travel Star Trek episode. (There's also a South Park episode named after it.)

No this on was when Mcoy accidently injected himself with some kinda crazy medicine
beamed down to a planet and ran through a time portal to 1930's.
Kirk and Spock followed him through because he had changed history so much that the Federatin no longer existed.

Edith Keeler, through her scandalous welfare handouts, delayed the US entry into WW2, allowing the Nazi's enough time to develope the atom bomb first and thus, winning WW2.
