I was over at a friends for a night...  used his cable connection for a lil bit..

I think of everything I miss the SSG most with a good connection

Nice frag..  I think the first shot makes him hit his head on the cieling,
and I ssg him b4 he lands

I love that gun too. I've never played quake2 on dial-up
or anything slower than my cable modem at home, so I dunno
how bad it sucks. I guess my aim would deteriorate even further.

I ping like 35 or so from work though!

Yes you do.  r1q2 has the nice feature of autorecording.

I just record everything.....   last check (months ago) I had over 5000


What I do,  is if I make a good shot,  or if something funny happens,
I name the next demo something like Getssgshotb4this.dm2

Then its easy to dig out and work with later


Lucky you dont have to deal with Dialup (Even though you should be WORKING!!!)
you have to either think about your shots alot more...  or use random flick shots.
Seems about as effective either way.
