Widescreen Or Regular LCD Monitor?

I am using the same resolution (800x600) (gl_mode 4) for both my desktop and Q2 so the monitor doesn't "restart" during the transition.  At this resolution, refreshlock lists 120 hz as the frequency, so I locked in at that and its pretty damn smooth in-game.

Are you setting cl_maxfps at 100 to match your refresh rate naymlis?
