hahaha please DL this demo everyone.. I think i did pretty good for playing a map that i JUST downloaded and a mod that I never play, not to mention with a 200+ ping using the hardest weapon to aim with high ping. GG plastik I'll watch it later

actually your ping registered at 44.  And you do play the railz mod.  you can't use that excuse anymore.  you are in a railz clan #justpound and you are going to use 'this is a mod I don't play ever' defense.  And you so did not just download that map, I saw You on it before we played.  The map is actually big empty space, nothing to learn, haha.  and there the mega jump boxes from dm1, and the stairs, so you should feel right at home..  And, you also chose those settings.  So far, 2 games your settings BOTH times.  1/1.  I guess there is always a defense though.  Now I expect you to bring up adrenalines match to bring the heat off of you.

I dont play rails.. justpound is a joke more than anything dude... lastnight was the first time i even connected to a rails server with one of my 'clanmates' or connected to a rails server period SINCE OUR LAST MATCH which was around 2-3 months ago?!?! lol just give it a rest.. look at my fucking ping!??!? you're like a little dog looking at a biscuit that is just out of reach...

thank you console, it's just another bizare claim from plastik like how i spawn killed him 4x in the demo i posted, that he actually beat me in the demo i posted, that i posted his ip in the forums, and many others.. haha all proven to be lies

well, no matter what ISP he was using, his ping did register 44, of that I am certain.
and either way it doesn't matter, he lost that match and is trying to dodge a bullet with excuses.  I suppose now hes gonna say hes not even trying, and that he was playing with his monitor off.

I just realized...Every match haunted wins or loses, he brings up that hes on dialup as an excuse of 'owning people'  or an excuse of 'getting owned' by people.  It's one excuse after another, get some broadband, then maybe you can move past lame excuses such as these.  If your going to pull the ping card, then just quit q2, because theres no sense in bitching about shit you can't change.  And guaranteed, your PC is better than the one I am running right now.  You don't hear me saying 'Oh my pc only had an 8MB vidcard and I play in soft mode at 400x300, it's very hard to see and aim at pixels, and blending is horrible'.

ping isnt a excuse it's a factor , just like hardware etc.. it all makes a diference . ESP is insta gib rails , you alread eliminated every tool a hpb player has to use to defnd themselfs do to their ping . Armor , splash damage weapons etc... Him knowing or having the map I dont know or could careless but you really need to think about what u say about hpb players , I was one until recent and was damn good at being hpb. The only advantage a hpb player ever has, is always having the position as the underdog. They have nothing to lose, and everything to win. This sucks for these kinds of ego driven games of course, because no matter outcome they can come out on top pointing at the ping, with facts backing them.

Now with that all aside A win is a win a loss is a loss , high ping low ping by one frag or by 100 , it dosnt matter you won or lost period .

And also, which do you guys think matters more?  Ping or hardware?  I think In my case, I'd rather have some really good hardware and a high ping.  Prediction is one thing, but when your hardware causes the game to slow down soo much, that can add more problems than a dialup lag.   Simply put, if you intend to use the ping defense in every quake match you play, you might as well not play quake.

Actually, he's trying to deny that I won fairly due to the fact that our pings are soo different.  very well knowing this before he even challenged me.  So his basic strategy is if he wins, he's gonna say 'Ha, you lost to a hpb', and if I win, he's gonna say 'You only won because you are a LPB'.  So either way, his win is 'enhanced' and his loss is 'invalid', due to pings.  I use to be a HPB too for years, and I never once complained about anyone else's ping, because of the simple fact of why complain to someone for having a better internet connection?  I can see if someone had a 10 ping, thats a little rediculous .  And As long as there is no packet loss, a high ping can be just as good if you can move correctly.  And actually, high pings can make it harder for people to hit you, you fire where they are supposed to be, and the server reads them as not there yet, so you miss.  Theres alot of factors to consider.  I'd be very interested to see excuses arise when everyone is using the same hardware, with the same settings, same client, and same ping.
