haha pretty cool.. it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it..
All of the jumps are still possible w/ sv_airaccelerate 10.... u can still circle.

i have accel in my cfg but ive never known the difference between 1 and 100 if any difference at all, does anyone happen to know?

Personally thought sv_airaccelerate could just be toggled on/off with 0/1. Don't think giving it any other value will do any difference, not sure what haunted talks about because I can't circle any better/worse if it's set to 1 or 10.
So I'll say it doesn't make any difference having it 1 or 100. Unless someone proves me wrong

I am unfamiliar with this cmd but i am with the movement... quadz told me to enter in 10 so I did. I can circle fine with accel on... can't you guys?? I just cant strafe.. I've done the dj from chain steps to combat armor and also 2 circles to mega.

Howdy,
I got the "10" value from the 3.19 release notes:
- New server cvar: sv_airaccelerate. This controls the optional air
acceleration facility. The default value is 0, which disables air control.
The usual value to replicate the air control seen in the original Quake and
later versions of Quakeworld is 10. 10 allows for much more
air control (as was seen in 3.15). This value is ignored in single player
and coop.
However...! From reading the source code, it looks like they may have made a typo, because it doesn't work the way the release notes describe.
In reality, sv_airaccelerate is just a toggle. Zero for off, nonzero for on. Internally, at the point where, if the release notes were accurate, they would have actually used the value of sv_airaccelerate in the physics, they use a slightly differently named variable, pm_accelerate, which is fixed at "10" and can't be changed from the console.
So, ultimately, no matter what nonzero value you set sv_airaccelerate to, it's as though you'd set it to "10".
