Hmm.. strange. I was just able to connect to your account, upload a file into public_html, then delete it.

I'm not sure what the problem might be. (I used the Unix command line FTP client.)

You might try FileZilla insted of LeachFTP, just to see if it changes anything?

Adam you dont need to put in the remote directory. the server end will shove you where you need to go
if you specify that directory it might give you that error about trying to change directorys. all you need is server ip/address port and login info.

or did you create folders and lock everyone out including yourself?

After diagnosing the problem with a packet dumper, I realized it was a PASV issue.

When adam turned on PASV mode, the issue appears to have been solved...

I am in the process of rejuvenating the Quake 2 division for Ancient Warriors. Of the 100 or so members, only 3 or 4 actually play Quake 2. For a clan/gaming organization that was founded upon Q2 - this worries me, obviously.

I would request that instead of giving us free webspace, put a little link beside the other clans that links to our frontpage. I can craft an image to use in Photoshop.

If that isn't allowed - perhaps giving Ancient Warriors a bit of webspace on your site to put an app up or something that leads directly to OUR site.

I dunno. Either way - I think it would drum up recruitment.

Well, yeah... if the only point in creating the webspace is to have it redirect elsewhere, there seems little point in going through the administrative motions to set the acount up.

I guess I could change the heading to read "Hosted clans and friends" or something...

Go ahead and send me the image and we'll figure something out. It should be 96x24 pixels or smaller...

Yup...! The image might be a little dark, but we'll see how it looks next to the others.
