well when i type my IP from www.whatismyip.com to run my server it jus says connecting blah blah alot of people told me i need to open my ports or w/e could someone hop on aim or msn and help me real quick. The server and everything is done jus need help wit the ports. Thanks

someone said all that could be said in the last post. so i'll say the same thing.
check the ip on your machine, vs what you see on whatismyip.com
if it's different.
allow the traffic on the router like in the previous post
you'll want a static address on your server

Looks to me that lots have tried to help you but maybe you dont have the sence that god gave geese.
maybe your are the lazy ass and instead of finding out how to run a server on your own, you come here asking how to run a server.

Coming here asking for advice is good but when you are so incompitent that you cant even understand the advice people give you, and call them lazy for not finding out what you should already know if you are considering running a server.

Maybe you should reconsider this server running thing until you grow up a little...and after all wont your mommy get mad at you for running a server without her permission.

If common sence was so common, wouldnt more people have it?

i said it like 100 times everything is set up.. you open the server and i connect just fine its jus the ports and the ip. If i can set up the rest then wtf you talking shyt for?

So what's your status? Are you running any firewall software on your system, such as the built in Windows XP firewall, or Zone Alarm, etc.?

Are you familiar with the admin pages on your router, where the port mapping takes place?
