Community Destruction

look, i hate to just bring this up, and i feel bad about it, but im just curiuous.

what if someone who is part of this community dies, get into a coma, gets kidnapped, gets stranded somewhere, gets locked up in jail (like bleach), etc ?

what if the internet was completely destroyed ?

what if technology was destroyed where were back into another stone age ?  (reminds me of the end of dx)

what if communications were destroyed where we wont be able to communicate with each other again (as long as were living) ?

most of us know each other as if we lived in each others lives.

if the internet was replaced, it will probably be a reciever in our heads that allow us to visualize a display and execute process's by thought    They have a chip implant that is in its first testing stages that allows the handicapped to control pc mouse movements and clicks with their mind.  Now imagine playing a video game when your reflexes arent limited by the speed of hand, but the mind by itself.  Like any other part of our body, the more we exercise it, the stronger it becomes, over time, generation after generation.  You could say we are in a stage of hyper-development, since a good portion of our inventions have taken place in only the last 500 years or so, and its increasing very steadily, especially in the last 200 years or so.  On that note, wtf is taking soo long, we supposedly landed on the moon nearly 50 years ago, and we dont expect to actually begin a small scientific colony there until atleast 2018..thats around 70 years from going there to actually building something up there...wtf is in charge?  20 billion dollars just to design these new crafts?  BS.  I faintly recall NASA saying in the 90's that in 2005 we will send men to mars.  Someone get me some tang!
