Had a bot on xquake last night

Good demo EyE.... You would have thought the idjit would have set the sensitivity a little less if he was gonna bot.... Been awhile since I got to see anything like that....

So not being the smartest bunny in the world can some one explain to me that download.

I thought it was a .dm2 file so renamed it and tried to run it and nadda.

If you look at it, it mentions homer over and over as a skin. As I recall when the ratbot first appeared the skin supplied was homer simpson, so is that what twigged you to it or can you actually view this d/l as a demo.

Curious bunnies need to know.

Fluffy, it is a .dm2 file, that link is to the page it is on. You don't have to rename it, unless you wanted to for some reason. It should be in the baseq2/demos folder and I've noticed with some clients, the command at the console is: demomap humda.dm2 (instead of: map humda.dm2). I hope that helps

The problem, I discovered after I'd d/l'd the file again was a size issue. My first d/l didn't get it all by about 200kb.

The second d/l worked fine.

When I downloaded it, it saved as "humda.dm2.html". I had to rename it to get rid of the .html

Fragger, dont you know a cheater cant see a cheat demo while using a hacked client. Get rid of your cheats / hacks and then try to watch it. LOL

To view a demo, get demoplayer.

lets you play a demo from any location by doubleclicking it. It starts quake2 and lets you fastforward using F8
