Normally my ping is 150, but yesterday on dm server my ping went over 350 for several minutes. I rarely have lag. And when it happens, it's total freezes for a second or so. But this time, it was just constant high ping and everything was delayed. I've never experienced that before.

Prior to this, a player named "Pastan888rFAGS" joined the game. He first played a map or two, and my ping was normal. Then he didn't play q2dm7, and that's when the ping issue happened. This player's ping was 13-16. I suspect he might be a player called ".B100D", because he earlier told how his ping is superior now and this player has something against me and 888. So I don't know what happened, but I suspect that this player either has rcon access and can see my IP or he has a buddy with this access and can tell the IP to him. And then him/them did something that caused my ping to go sky high.

If this is true, it's a serious privacy / Internet crime issue and a trust issue against admins/mods.

BTW, despite the ping, I won the map anyways.

there was at least 4 ppl on there getting over 300 ping, inc me , so unless someone was hacking us all at the same time, more likely just the server itself.

Neither "Pastan888rFAGS" or "B100d" have admin or rcon access to the server. The list of people with that access is rather small and have no interest in 'causing ping spikes' to players. Sounds like an issue with your connection or routing most likely.
