Hi,

I have not played in 20 years and found all the maps I made etc... I want to play sometimes but even after upgrading to version 3.20 I can only play in Software 1024x768. When I switch to OpenGl or 3dfx it just quits the game. I did get kmquake to work and it looks amazing but I cant play on any servers unless I use the quake2 version 3.20. Any ideas? Thanks

Kmquake2 should work, but there's also q2pro, yamagi, and r1q2. There is a quick start q2 package on the tastyspleen main page u can dl too. 3.20 probably crashes because of the ref_gl.dll. It's too old, but you can also use the unofficial 3.24 patch. Get it from the kmquake2 guy's page. You can even just sub the ref_gl.dll from 3.24 into your 3.20 install and it will work if you really want that archaic 3.20 goodness.
