Yeah, definitely has that peculiar Q3 architecture. Just looking at the screenshots, I already see some jumps I wanna try.  Look forward to playing it sometime.

Did quadz leave a clear guide somewhere as to which maps go to what servers and when? being a new map and not being a q2dm$ map i'd say it's fit for rotation on other ts servers before trying it on ts dm mymap - would it be usual or sensible for a new custom map to be added to ts dm mymap without it first being playtested on the ts servers that were specifically made for new custom maps?

I probably over-explained where I was intending to put the map. I do know that dm needs special attention when a map is a candidate for placement there and dm8 is strictly stock rotation. Wherever it does end up, it will be either available or not available depending on the configuration of the server. How's that for hand-waving?

No, he didn't leave any policy notes inside the system that I am aware of. He didn't have to. He was running solo and didn't need to memorialize the processes. The game server startups are all pretty straightforward. The servers also all have common content so once a map is placed into the baseq2 folder and onto the redirect server it's available to any mod that might want to use it. Mod-specific maps get put into the mod folders to which they belong. There's a master content tree and all the servers in ancillary accounts get symlinks to each file of common content in their accounts to conserve disk space. All the tastyspleen.net servers share the same real file sets so any addition is automatically available and can be voted or called up depending on the mod.

Otherwise, if someone puts a map up in the boards, download it and run it in your own machine until we get a round tuit.

So my grandpa on my moms side died back in 1995 I think. I remember when we'd go visit him to eat at the pizza place down the road from him, on his coffee table he used to have this weird round wooden puck looking thing with letters carved in it that said "tuit".

If you people are gonna let him keep making new accounts, could we maybe find a way to shoot me a PM with whatever new names he's gonna use so I can add them to my ignore list and prevent any more little shit disturbances like this in the future? We had the shit where I poked him a little bit for fun-sies and we finally both decided that a permanent "fuck you" and "/ignore" was the way to go... then he comes back... AGAIN... with another name, and starts yaking it up with me in a couple threads like absolutely nothing happened with us not just a mere one or two months ago. His very first post with his new acct is in my single player models thread. The next two are him engaging me in the politics thread. And I act civil and normal because I don't know who he is yet. It's only when he starts suggesting you unban everyone that I change my attitude toward him.

Can we not maybe understand where my shitty attitude on this is coming from? Just saying.
