Is it possible to spectate and view demos in first person view mode?

Spectator mode and replayed demos of other players appear to be in third person view mode only. Is there a way to spectate and view replays in first person view mode? I'm using the Q2pro.exe client.

I think if you click the mouse one or space bar it changes views and players. My m1 is shoot and space is jump so try your shoot and jump buttons. One of em bounces you to different players and the other switches cams/viewpoints if I remember correctly.

Clicking mouse2 or spacebar would be the obvious way of changing view, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I see demos on Youtube that are in first person view, but I'm assuming it's because it's recorded by the actual player playing. I want to record other players, but when I spectate them it's always in third person view.

Indeed, it depends on which Q2 game mod the server is running. OpenTDM for example does allow in-eyes spectating, while the default Q2 deathmatch game code is third-person only.
