The cutoff is the top 1000 players by total frag count. When I tried letting it output stats for every alias ever used on vanilla in the last 8 months, the file size was 40+ megs.

That would be possible if I coded the output in HTML someday. As it's currently just a .txt file, there is no way to specify anything color or font related.

Wow, its easy to get the most highest streak picking on the same guy who just happens to stand there and take the hits. I think streaks should only count if there are more than two or three persons involved.

1) Sure, people will exploit the stats. I suggest Console's script not try to do too much interpretation - it is too complex to code for spawn camping, etc.. The burden of interpretation should be on the reader of the stats -- just as you just pointed out.

Moreover, the Q2 admins around tend to be pretty active and aware. And the community being small means that people's reputations stick. So, if someone is 'gaming' the stats, people will likely know.

2) Vanilla is often full of novice players, so I rarely play there. I'm more interested in the stats of people I'm in-game with on DM, Sheridan, and the tourney servers.

Yeah... The stats program I wrote is actually called "ffastats". To make it more useful for the tourney servers I think it should at least detect who won each match against whom...
