alpha: make sure you take ownership of the q2 folder and set it to not be read-only if you copied the whole thing over from another machine. It may help. Also, as r1ch said manually replace the .dll. It may be going to auto update and hanging.

I figured out what was happening. Avira was blocking anticheat from loading, so when I load up q2 and it got to the loading of AC avira was kicking in unknown to me and blocking it, bit strange seeing i added it to exempt list.

The Q2PRO r1504 May 5 2016 build will connect to an anticheat enabled server, but if I then /reconnect or /connect to any other anticheat enabled server, it crashes every time.

Tested on both Windows 10 and Windows 7 with latest anticheat (2016-05-04). MSE installed but with an exception for anticheat.dll. Running as Administrator makes no difference. Windows 7 crash log below, if it's useful:

Hmm I made sure to test the reconnect / new server code. Can you make a .dmp file from task manager while the "stopped working" dialog box is still open?

Thanks for the .dmp file, unfortunately it seems like the crash corrupted the TEB so there's not much debug info to go on

I just want to say that anticheat is hacked and I'm not willing to back up or support that claim or explain what the hell I mean by it in any way whatsoever.

I can confirm the q2pro build with AC locks up if you do connect/reconnect or use goto with wallfly. On my windows 7 Pro x64 laptop. I'll try on my desktop when I get home. The client is also listed as "???" in the aclist output.

Should be fixed as of the latest anticheat update.
