UPDATE re: dark scenes in the video...
If the video appears too dark for you, it may be related to a codec/colorspace issue which I'm still investigating. The original video does not look as dark. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Media Player Classic users: using Video Mixing Renderer 9 instead of Enhanced Video Renderer should fix the problem. Ensure you aren't running any custom video filters/shaders. Alternatively use VLC player.

Youtube stream: temporary workaround for Nvidia users: right-click desktop, click 'Nvidia Control Panel', on the left setion click to expand 'Video', click 'Adjust video color settings', select 'With the NVIDIA settings', click 'Advanced' tab, select 'Limited (16-235)' for Dynamic range, click 'Apply', close the window, restart your browser and try watching the video. Hopefully it won't be as dark now.

I thought 15 minutes was going to be too long but I was entertained pretty much through the whole movie. You had a good mix of frags in the film (TDM frag streaks, quad runs, joke map frags, and duel frags), which is good since we had a variety of different frags to watch. I knew to expect rock star frags from David of course, but some of them I were surprised at. He nailed some air rockets at some pretty bizarre angles, like on tlfl. Also, the air rocket combos with different weapons were pretty trippy, especially when you consider how long the weapon switch delay is in Q2. o.O

The editing was pretty good. I was afraid that the brightness was going to be too low throughout the movie, but it turned out that that was only the case for a few clips at the beginning of the film. As for the music, it was pretty decent and worked out, IMO. None of the tracks were obnoxious, which is a good thing.

That triple nade near the 11 minute mark cracked me up. I love cheesy TDM frags. 

If you want more hits for your video, cse, you could try posting this up on esreality.com. Even though that crowd doesn't like Q2 at all, they gave some positive feedback for that frag movie that sirkin made of Purri. Nevermind if you already considered this.

Came here for a good demo because i miss Q2, was kinda hoping for a decent purri demo, but i actually saw even purri get raped. 
 Got what i wanted and a little extra.
 For FUCK sakes this guy, nade combo kill was indeed awesome, rail accuracy through the roof, had at least 10-15 OMFG  moments.

I salute any and all of his opponents.

Btw incredible video quality, wish i could play in that quality/smoothness/heavenly fps.

CSE, may I ask what tools you used to make this movie? Is there a way one might capture footage from .dm2 files without using KeyGrip2 or any commercial program (like FRAPS)? Unfortunately, KeyGrip keeps crashing on my computer for some reason
